Someone say music is dead? Old Mine Universe just shot that statement down in flames! I don’t know how this is a debut album, it’s ridiculously accomplished in every way, an astounding feat of talent. This is hard rock, with respectful nods to past legends, touched with expansive desert rock, throughout remaining intelligent, thoughtful, contemplative, upbeat. Guitar solos, remember them? I can hear Slash & Kirk Hammett. But every member is smashing it out of the park here. Turn up that volume!

A juicy psychedelic feast! Biting into an orange in the desert while on acid. Saint Karloff deliver all the goods: the vibes of exploratory 70s rock while still giving you fresh melodies, heavy spaced-out fuzz tones, and that all-important yet under-mentioned crucial ingredient to great psych/stoner: a totally righteous rhythm section, hitting you with rhythmic patterns and changes that turn the "cool" riff into a landslide. Extra credit to the drummer and the bassist. Great stuff!
